Karen Olson is the Quality Assurance and Health and Safety Manager for Labtopia Solutions. She specializes in technical review of Quality Systems, assisting in implementation and maintanence ofQuality and Safety systems as well as technical auditing. Her diverse background in Chemistry, Quality Assurance and Safety, as well as managing personnel enables her to be aware of what exaclty a client is looking for in a quality or health and safety system.  Karens’ knowledge of these systems enables her to  assist the client in quickly obtaining NELAC or ISO certification and help in maintaining those systems, if needed . She takes great pride in knowing exaclty what the client is looking for in a technical system and works hard to ensure the clients quality or safety systems are premier .

Karen  gets excited during the course of her day when she is able to assist in developing a clients quality or safety program and increase their understanding of the complexity of NELAC or ISO standards. She enjoys interacting with client employees and the prospect of providing a positive contribution to the company’s success.

In her off time, Karen and her husband have two teenage children and a hound dog who keep them pretty busy, but you can still find her enjoying the outdoors in hikes around the Houston area, fishing in San Luis Pass (second sand bar for sure) and her down time is her second love of life – reading, she is never far from a book.
