This poster will outline the elements of the new standard and how it relates to the current ISO 17025:2005 standard. The poster will discuss the impact to the food laboratory and how the quality system can be revised to fit the new requirements. Many organizations are concerned about implementing the element of risk analysis in the management and technical aspects of the quality system. However, the majority of the food industry is familiar with risks related to their existing HCAAP plans.
